I Believe in Commitment…
I Believe in Commitment…
“There’s a difference between interest and commitment. When you’re interested in doing something, you do it only when circumstance permit. When you’re committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results.” – Art Turock
There are committed individuals all over the world. People are committed to their jobs, families, pets, and anything else they are interested in and they spend lots of their time on. There are doctors that spend hundreds of hours in looking for new cures that will save lives. People are committed to each other and get married to show their commitment.
If people were not committed it would be harder to get better or to figure something out. If a football player was not committed he will never play in college or become professional.
I am a committed individual. I commit myself to school my family, and being a civilized human. I am also committed to something I enjoy very much. I am a pole vaulter. I practice five days a week and on Sundays. I love the feeling of working so hard at something and seeing the results. I have been working really hard during my senior season and just broke my school record and set my new personal best at 14’4”. I will continue to be committed long into college and whatever happens after.
Success comes from commitment. The more you commit to something the better you will be. The more time you spend practicing what ever it is you do the safer and more advanced you will become. So commit to some thing you love and see where it takes you.

I agree with you 100 percent shayne! You should always be comitted to everything that you do! i believe that the way you were describing pole vaulting, it sounds like you are very comitted to it! great speech!
