Closing credits for our podcast
As we prepare to piece our podcasts together, we’d like to give credit to National Public Radio for the inspiration to compose spoken essays following the “This I Believe” series.
Music for this podcast is from Jon Schmidt’s album Powerful Exhilarating Piano featuring song “All of me” from the Podsafe Music Network.
Check out version two with more end music. Credits with extended music

Dawn: you are so awesome!
Your project is so adverturous for a 9 week class but believe me, your students will remember your class for the rest of their lives.
I am so glad you work here (and that we get the chance to work together).
Keep up the wonderful work…pm

P,
Thank you for your support!
My students have inspired me in this project and even though we’re running to crunch time to wrap it up, we’re still so focused and engaged. I’m so glad to work with you too!

These are all powerful essays. I think it’s especially wonderful for the kids to be able to podcast them as well. It’s likely going to be a major communications tool for their generation. But tools are worthless without careful thought, self-examination and passion. I found elements of each of these in all of the essays. Very impressive, and congratulations to all of you. Best of luck as you pursue your dreams.

hey mrs. Reed!!!
i am going to miss you soooo much now that we dont have a class together… you have taught me so much this past nine weeks..both about speech and technology as well as small simple things. i am very greatful to have had the chance to have such a wonderful teacher like yourself to push me to do my very best work that i am very proud of. i have come a long way since the beginning of your class as far as speaking skills go. i am so proud of myself now that i can actually stand up in front of the class and not completely forget what i was going to say. remember my first speech?!?!?!? wow..now that was a train wreck! with our last and final speech, the persuasive speech, i really wasn’t very nervous at all! i was so proud of myself! and you helped me get to that point. i will truly miss you and your speech class.

P.S. SPEECH CLASS OF ‘07 ROCKS!
P.S.S. what did you think of Randee’s poems?

Madi,
I will miss our class too. I do remember your first speech and I too am very proud of you and all you have accomplished! I’ve been impressed by how much everyone in your class developed as a speaker and communicator. I’m very proud of all of you.
Thank you for your comments. I can’t believe speech class is over. But several of you have been on our blog since spring break started, so we’re still connected
I like Randee’s poems. Now you two will need to consider joining Writers’ Club
