I understand that pod casting is a new kind of communication man has created to distribute information to different people across the web. I noticed that pod casting doesn’t support any visuals besides the written essay and sometimes a picture of the speaker comes with it. I like listening and I noticed that when people can only hear their voice, and not see them, they seem less nervous, and they seem to emphasize their voices more.
I listened to the “There is no god” and “Be cool to the pizza dude”. I selected those essays because “There is no god” was the highest rated one and “Be cool to the pizza dude” was found randomly. These essays seem to be very well though out and very well presented. I remember the emphases on certain important areas and I remember the main points from those essays. I think those two things where very effective.
I noticed it was kind of boring. I also noticed that they gave a brief summery of the speech before the speaker spoke.
